Enforcements for Washington State Treasurer

Violation: The Washington State Treasurer may have violated the Ethics in Public Service Act when they knowingly sent an email supporting their campaign for reelection from their home computer to at least seven state employees, thus using state facilities for political purposes.

Result: Settlement approved on January 11, 2001 for a Civil penalty in the amount of $1,200.
