Result: Settlement approved on September 13, 2002 for a Civil penalty in the amount of $1,500 with $1,000 suspended.

Evidence indicated that they had been using their state computer to access various websites for online banking, bill paying and shopping for personal benefit.

Result: An agreed Stipulation and Order was entered on September 11, 2020 imposing a civil penalty of $2,750.

Violation: An employee of Central Washington University may have violated the Ethics in Public Service Act when they used state resources for their personal outside business. Evidence indicated that they would spend time at their place of business during times they were on duty as a police officer and used their state computer for their outside business.

Result: Settlement approved on September 12, 2014 for a civil penalty of $3,000 with $1,000 suspended.
